Technical Friction
The key challenge was to build a trading platform capable of processing real-time market information and executing orders with minimal delay. The system needed to maintain reliable communication with brokerage APIs while handling live price updates, order routing, risk checks, positions, and profit and loss tracking in a secure and scalable environment.
Node.js & TypeScript Trading Backend with Real-Time Data Pipelines
Goolluck Consulting LLP developed a Node.js and TypeScript-based backend integrated with the Motilal Oswal OpenAPI. WebSocket-based real-time data processing was implemented to continuously receive and distribute market information, while the backend manages order execution, risk validation, positions, and portfolio-related operations.
